Darrel Shaver specializes in individual and marital therapy. His focus is on disorders (mood, personality, anxiety and conduct), sexual dysfunctions, marriage (pre-marital, remarriage, blended families), vocational/occupational counseling, substance abuse, academic problems, and parent/adolescent relationships.

A partner with the Center since 1990, he has also served as Associate Dean of Students with Columbia International University and was with Campus Crusade for Christ for 8 years.

Dr. Shaver is married with four grown children and is a member of Columbia's First Baptist Church.
